Our commitment to your privacy
Rising Heights ABA (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is based in New Mexico. This policy describes how we handle information connected with our website, inquiries, and routine communications with families and referring providers.
Rising Heights ABA does not sell or share consumer personal information, including phone numbers, with third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional purposes, or lead generation.
Mobile information and text messaging opt-in data and consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own use. Limited access by service providers that deliver messages on our behalf is described below; it does not permit their independent marketing or reuse of your consent.
Information we receive
When you use our intake inquiry form, we receive your parent or caregiver name, email address, city or community, preferred follow-up method, and any phone number, ZIP code, child’s age range, or care preference you choose to provide. We also record your adult and authorization confirmation, whether you opted in to texts, the consent wording and version shown, the form address, and the submission date and time.
Inquiries and consent records are stored in our website’s private staff inbox. Notification emails to our team contain a link to the inbox rather than the family details. When you communicate with us separately, we may receive message content and delivery details. Our website and hosting or security providers may receive technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and access time to deliver and protect the website.
The inquiry form is an initial contact request, not a clinical intake. Please do not submit diagnoses, medical records, insurance IDs, or other sensitive clinical details through it. Contact our team for a suitable way to provide referral documents.
How we use information
We use information to respond to questions, discuss service availability and intake, coordinate appointments, communicate with you about your requests, maintain communication preferences, and operate and protect our services. We may also use information to meet legal obligations and resolve concerns. Our text messaging program is for appointment reminders, intake follow-ups, and replies to families, not promotional texts.
Text messaging and your choices
Rising Heights ABA sends SMS/MMS communications only with appropriate consent. Providing a phone number or visiting this website alone does not enroll you in ongoing text messages. Our intake form offers a separate, optional SMS checkbox that is unchecked by default. Check it only if you want text updates at the mobile number you provide. Submitting an inquiry without checking that box does not opt you in to texts. Consent to texting is optional and is not a condition of receiving services.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance, or call (505) 407-6700 or email intake@risingheightsaba.com. You may also contact us to request another communication method or to update your phone number.
Texts may appear on a device’s lock screen and may be accessible to others who use your device. Please do not send clinical records, detailed medical information, or urgent concerns by ordinary text message. See our SMS terms for additional information.
Website technologies and outside links
Our website uses hosting and security services to deliver its pages and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser may send technical information, including your IP address, to providers when it requests these resources. Hosting or security features may use cookies or similar technologies for their operation. You can manage cookies in your browser, although blocking them may affect some features.
Links to other organizations lead to websites with their own privacy practices. This policy applies to Rising Heights ABA’s website and communications, not to independently operated websites.
Health information and children
This website is intended for adults, including parents, legal guardians, and referring professionals. We do not invite children under 13 to submit personal information directly through this website. If you believe a child has provided information directly without appropriate parental involvement, please contact us.
This website policy is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and does not replace any notice or rights that apply to clinical records. Health information received in connection with care is handled under applicable healthcare privacy requirements and the notices and agreements that govern that care. Contact our team to obtain the privacy notice applicable to your care or to arrange a suitable method for sending records.
Retention, security, and privacy requests
We retain information as needed for the purposes described here, recordkeeping obligations, and applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of information and its purpose. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, but no website or communication method can guarantee absolute security.
You may contact us to ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. Requests are subject to applicable law and any recordkeeping obligations; some records cannot be deleted on request. This policy does not limit rights you have under applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or applicable requirements change. The effective and last-updated dates appear at the top. When additional notice or consent is required, we will provide it. Please contact us if you have questions about a change.
